Historically, My Son used to be the religious capital of the Hindu Cham Kingdom which controlled Central Vietnam for centuries.
The Cham had developed a unique way of building their brick temples without using any mortar. Interestingly, it stays very much mysterious, even to our modern science.
Despite being a victim of warfare and oblivion, My Son Sanctuary remains a great spiritual and archeological complex so that UNESCO listed it World Heritage Site in 1999.

3.1. Dress Code
We highly suggest you to wear proper clothes that cover your shoulders and knees during our experience.
And due to the high humidity, we advise you to dress breathable clothes.
3.2. Shoes for Marble Mountains
My Son valley is pretty much flat but some paths are not even while the Marble Mountain has many slippery steps to conquer. Having good sandals or shoes is advisable.
